In these modern times of e-mail and such, I think it is important not to forget about the power of the spoken word and how much more a thank you for your business or asking someone how they are seems more personal coming in the form of our own voice. It always makes a better impression on me when someone takes an extra minute from there day to thank me verbally for something I have done for a person or business.
